The Archaeological Museum on the Greek Island of Cos houses a small but significant selection of artifacts that have been found in the excavations on Cos.
Cos is a Greek island that is part of the Dodecanese island chain. It is located just off the coast of Turkey. In ancient times it was famous for the medical school that was associated with the famous physician Hippocrates. It also was home of one of the major Asclepions (healing centers)—others included ones at Pergamum, Corinth and Epidaurus.
