This 13-line Greek inscription was found in the forum of Sussita/Hippos.  The man was an official in the Roman provincial administration and his wife Domitia Ulpia is mentioned in the inscription.

The translation from BAR is:
"Good Luck Aelius Calpurnianus, the former cornicularius (in the office) of the procurator summanum nationum, and Domitia Ulpia, matrona stolata, his wife (erected the statue of) the ambassador, to the native city.  In the year 302 [= AD 238/9](in the month of) Dis (day) 8."

Translation and commentary from: Segal, Arthur and Michael Eisenberg. “The Spade Hits Sussita.” Biblical Archaeology Review 32, no. 3 (May/June, 2006): 46.
