View looking northwest at some of the extensive remains of the Palace of Domitian that overlooks the Garden/Stadium to the north. This building was rebuilt under Septimius Severus (r. 193–211). It included dining rooms (triclinia), a heating system, marble paneling, a garden with fountains, and a bath complex.
