View from the west looking east at one of two reconstructed circular towers that guard the southern entrance to Perga. Outside the city is to the right (south) of this tower. This is a view of the reconstructed (exterior) entrance into the tower.
The Towers were built in the third century B.C. and were standing when Paul, Barnabas, and John Mark visited the city about A.D. 46.
