A detailed image of the middle wreath on Column B of two griffins, one of many animals sacred to Apollo—numerous griffins are found at the Temple of Apollo at Didyma!  A griffin is a mythological creature with the body, tail, and back legs of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle.

Latin Inscription:  VOTISXX
