View looking west at the well-preserved eight-chambered granary of Hadrian (Roman Emperor A.D. 117–138). This two-story structure had 8 chambers on the inside.
The marshy area in the foreground is where the ancient harbor was located.
Compare the Granary of Hadrian at Andriace—only 35 mi, [56 km] to the east.
