Entrance to Passageway

View of the entrance into the underground passageway that connects the two parts of the Palace of Agrippa II. Note the modern wooden stairs and banister that lead down to the passageway.

On the left of the image is the circular base of the westernmost of the two west towers that guarded the entrance into the palace.
