View looking north at several chambers of the Israelite gate. On the far left (west) portion of the image is the wall of the Persian Period (586–332 B.C.). To the right (east) of that, in the center of the image, are several northern chambers of the Israelite gate of the 8th to 6th century B.C. Behind the chambers is a storage area where a number of storage jars from the late 8th century B.C. were found.
