View looking east (!) at the three parts of the tri-partite temple at Lachish.
In the lower right (west) portion of the image is the "Holy of Holies." To the left (east) of this is the "Holy Place" (a "broad room"), and to the left (east) of this, in the upper left portion of the image is the courtyard of the temple/shrine.
A similar styled temple was found by Aharoni at the Israelite Temple at Arad.
