View looking east at a large square podium/altar that is built of well–dressed stones and is located in the courtyard of the Late Bronze Age Palace/Temple. “In the area close to the podium, the courtyard was covered with animal bones and broken pottery sherds, reflecting that some sacrificial rituals or feasts were held there”—bones of bulls, sheep, goats, and pigs!
