View looking east at the southern portion of the Late Bronze Age Palace at Hazor. The upright supports for the protective roof are in the actual southern rooms of the palace/temple. Note the massive stone walls that are constructed mainly of limestone.
The entrance to the structure is visible on the left side of the image as is the main room.
