View looking northeast from Jezreel directly down (east) the Harod Valley. On the left side of the image, is the tree-covered lower slope of Hill of Moreh. On the right the tree-covered slope of Mount Gilboa is visible. The flat area between the two mountains is the Harod Valley which descends into the Jordan Valley.
The cluster of trees in the center of the image marks the spot of the spring of Jezreel and in the far distance, the hills of Gilead (east of the Jordan Valley) are barely visible.
The road from Jezreel leads directly to Beth Shan and on to Transjordan (Ramoth Gilead).
