View of the southeast corner of the third-century mosaic found in the triclinium of the elite house at Sepphoris.
The main frames of the mosaic are in the upper portion of the image. This is surrounded by 22 medallions that were created with acanthus leaves—each of which has a hunting scene.
A rolling wave and a guilloche pattern surround that and that in turn is surrounded by black merlons, some of which have faces or wildlife in them.
On the left, in the white, notice the Nilotic flora and fauna with naked youth hunting a bird and a long-eared crocodile. In the lower right is a procession, it looks like Dionysus riding a goat with a maenad playing a double flute.
