View looking north at artifacts excavated at the forum of Sussita. Note the gray granite columns resting on the basalt paving stones of the forum. In the back ground is a podium on which a Hellenistic temple, and later a Christian Church, stood.
In the center of the image is a semi-circular white limestone statue base that is 6 ft. [1.8 m.] in diameter.
