View looking east at the well-preserved interior of the nymphaeum that is located directly in front of the palestra. A close look indicted some of the marble façade is still in place. In ancient times this was filled with fresh water.
Rising above it is the southern wall of the palestra. On the right of the image the gravel covers the decumanus.
