A view of the Peristyle Courtyard from near the entrance on the east side of the compound looking west.
The Peristyle Courtyard is almost square (53 x 56 feet). It was open to the sky in the center and surrounded on all four sides by covered porticos. Notice the elaborate cut stone flooring—some of which has been reconstructed.
