Photograph looking southeast across the stage at the reconstructed first floor of the three-story skene of the theater at Aphrodisias. Note the Doric style: columns, and triglyphs and metopes. The inscription, in Greek, mentions Zoilos who paid for the construction of the theater in the late first century BC.
