View looking southeast from the Theater to the "Theater Agora"—often called the "Tetrastoön," because the square was surrounded on all four sides by a colonnade.
The green grass area, with a circular well in the center is the agora. Stubs of columns are visible on two of the four sides. Beyond that are two rows of almost complete columns that line a road that leads south from the Tetrastoon. To the right of the center of the image, the high walls are remains of the "Theater Baths."
This Agora was constructed in the fourth century AD when the South Agora was flooded and no longer usable.
