View of one of the square columns of the "Theater Agora"—often called the "Tetrastoön," because the square was surrounded on all four sides by a colonnade.
On the column, please note the intricate design with acanthus leaves and wild animals.
This Agora was constructed in the fourth century AD when the South Agora was flooded and no longer usable.
