View of a dedicatory inscription, located on the lower west wall of the orchestra area. In it Titus Flavius Dionysius is honored for his donation of 3,000 drachmae that was used to build a block of seats. It was benefactors like this who helped build public structures, and helped finance events such as plays, vocal contests, etc.
