A limestone orthostat from Carchemish.  On the left is a queen sits on a backed chair with her feet on a footstool.  She holds a goblet in her right hand and something in her raised left hand.  She is garbed in a full-length tunic that covers her from head to ankle.

On the right side of the orthostat is a goddess portrayed in a frontal position.  She is naked and her genitial is represented by a triangle.  She holds her breasts in her hands.  She has two wings and wears a horned headdress.  On each side of her, something hangs down from the height of her elbows to her ankles.  Her feet are angled outward.

The Luwian Hieroglyphic inscription that surrounds the head of the queen reads: "I am Win-a-tis, beloved wife of my lord Suhi, wherever and whenever my husband honors his name, he will honor my name as well with favors."  This translation is from a sign in the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.

The orthostat is about 3.5 feet high and dates to the Neo-Hittite Period (ca. 900-717 BC).
