View looking south at the cavea, orchestra, and skene of the of the smaller of the two theaters discovered at Knidos. In the background is the eastern (commercial) harbor and in the upper left portion of the images a boat can be seen leaving the harbor.
This theater could seat 5,000 and is Greek in style: built into the hillside; seating area more than a half circle in size; orchestra area; and originally without a skene (stage added by the Romans).
