View of a Four Unit House excavated by Steven Ortiz of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
The doorway is the lower left quadrant and leads into, what was, an open courtyard. The two columns on the left and the two on the right mark the boundaries of the side rooms. In the back was the fourth unit. This type of house is very typical of the dwellings in the Israelite Period.
