View of an artist's reconstruction of the agora area of Assos. Notice the two multistory stoas—the north (upper stoa) and the one on the south (lower stoa). In the upper right of the drawing, the square building on the east end of the agora is the bouleuterion (council house). In the lower left (west) is a temple that opens on to the agora.
The drawing was evidently made by the current Assos Excavations and is on display in a restaurant in Beramkale.
